KVOA News 4 Tucson and YMCA will host six events this summer. At each event, YMCA swim instructors will give a total of 100 non-swimmers a half-hour swim lesson, then they will send them off with a voucher for more lessons. The sessions are limited to 20 participants in each age group.
6 Events:
Mulcahy-Kino Thursday May 15 (across from Kino Sports Complex)
Ott Thursday May 22 401 S Prudence (Broadway & Kolb)
Northwest Thursday June 5 (Shannon & Magee)
Ott (changed from Lighthouse)Thursday June 12
401 S Prudence (Broadway & Kolb)
Lohse Thursday June 19 (Downtown)
Northwest Thursday July 10 (Shannon & Magee)
All events will be held from 4-6:30pm.
5 Sessions:
4:00-4:30 pm Ages: Three and Four year olds
4:30-5:00 pm Ages: Five and Six year olds
5:00-5:30 pm Ages: Seven and Eight year olds
5:30-6:00 pm Ages: Nine and Ten year olds
6:00-6:30 pm Ages: Eleven and Twelve year olds
